Liz attended the University of Nevada, Reno where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in 2017, and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2020.

Prior to opening Saddlehorn Speech & Language, Liz received experience working at a local pediatric private practice as well as a charter school where she completed her clinical fellowship year (CFY). During that time, she discovered her passion for working closely with families in a one-on-one setting where she was able to explore the valuable ability to share each child’s journey towards greater communication. Liz strongly encourages the families she works with to identify and honor every child’s means of communication on an individualized basis. Liz’s primary focus involves working within a variety of areas including articulations disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, social-pragmatic deficits, disfluencies/stuttering, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She also has experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, social pragmatic communication disorder, Williams syndrome, and other areas.

Liz’s passion lies within helping others for a greater purpose, and enjoys learning from each of her individual clients. When she isn’t working with her clients, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and two dogs (Charlie and Benji), getting together with her friends and family, and enjoying the outdoors camping, kayaking, and hiking.
